My name is Logan MacGillivray and I am 13 years old and live in Bedford Nova Scotia.
I am working on a project with guidance from the Centre for Development and Peace Education (http://www.cdpeace.com/) and sent two 40 foot shipping containers filled with educational, building and recreational materials to refurbish seven schools and build a children's multipurpose resource centre for students and teachers at the cdpeace headquarters at Mayagba, Sierra Leone
So far I have raised more then $36,000 needed to send two containers to Sierra Leone Africa along with an estimated value of $57,000 worth of donated supplies.
I continue to raise money to complete the Listen to the Children's multipurpose centre. It will serve 40 villages. The centre is expected to be complete in December 2010.
